TeamRH is looking for a:

HR Associate

Recruitment of legal interns

  • Centralisation, handling and follow-up of candidates. Typing up and publishing job ads (Kenexa), coordinating and follow-up of interviews.
  • Drafting offers and internship agreements, preparing administrative files, imputing information into HR.net and internship system management
  • Record keeping
  • Daily management of intern queries, organising intern lunches (quarterly)
  • Follow-up and coordination of absences and departures or interns and trainees; check-out, individual internship reports and group reports

School relations / Bursaries / Prizes

  • Relations with French law schools and Grandes Ecoles and UK & US universities
  • Management of subscription and participation in student fairs, organising interviews, coordinating the stand at the fair and participation from partners and associates
  • Coordinating bursary programmes and prizes with external partners, follow-up of bursary winners

Administrative follow-up – associates and trainees

  • Centralisation, handling and follow-up of candidates, publishing job ads on Kenexa, drafting rejection letters
  • Follow-up with alumni
  • Management of associate files:
  • For the French: guidance regarding their subscription to the ‘ordre des avocats de Paris’ (Paris Bar); follow-up with the oath taking ceremony. Organising arrivals and coordinating meetings and IT training
  • For salaried legal advisers, part time, international, student residence permit, work permit limited to 964 days
  • For legal advisers waiting to take their oath
  • For foreign lawyer with a permanent local contract: preparing files for the French National Bar Counsel (art. 99 and 100), guidance regarding their subscription to the ‘ordre des avocats de Paris’ (Paris Bar); follow-up with the oath taking ceremony. Organising arrivals and coordinating meetings
  • Client detachments in France: client contract, engagement letter, transmission of information into HR.net and SAF, sending signed contract to billing service
  • Trainees or HSF detachment for a maximum of 6 months: coordination with the international mobility services in London regarding the terms of detachment, collaborating with business finance regarding tax declarations, coordinating local logistical aspects with general and IT services.
  • Detachments from Paris to abroad: coordination with the international mobility services in London regarding the terms of detachment, coordinating with the local HR services, guidance regarding cessation of activity if more than 12 months or right to practice abroad if less than 12 months, check out.

Organisation of arrival

  • Organisation of welcome day: welcome, organising calendar for internal training, welcome lunch, welcome email, welcome book
  • Before arrival, preparing the installation of IT and general services as well as notifying department and manager
  • Input and update of SIRH, extractions from database

Miscellaneous

  • Assisting the head of RH with recruitments
  • Updating RH platforms regarding follow-up of candidates, positions to be filled, follow-up of intern quotas
  • Extractions from the database, monthly and annual statistics

Your profile

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a legal environment
  • Bac+4 (or equivalent: Master)
  • Written skills in French and English
  • Very good level of written and spoken English (frequent contact with international firms)
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Driven, organised, proactive, detailed
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team

Salary: according to profile and experience

Contract: Full time and permanent
